Ms Mollie Graneek Independent Counsellor
(BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist & UKRC Registered Independent Counsellor)
Mollie, originally from a clinical background as a midwife, has worked in the field of women’s health for the last 30 years. She spent 5 years in breast cancer research and was chemotherapy co-ordinator at the Royal Free Hospital until 1980. In 1981 she returned to midwifery and worked in the field of sexual health, fertility and pregnancy.
As a psychodynamic counsellor and Gestalt psychotherapist, she integrates her clinical experience with the emotional support so needed in the field of reproductive health issues. She works as a specialist fertility counsellor, has a particular interest in assisted reproduction and donor conception; Mollie is an accomplished writer and lecturer in this field.
Mollie became an executive member of the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) and was appointed to Chair in 2005. She further sits on the executive board of the British Society of Psychosomatic Obstetrics Gynaecology and Andrology (BSPOGA) and was appointed honorary treasurer in 2009.
Other aspects of her work include relationship, bereavement and trauma counselling. She is a member of an International Rapid Response Counselling team and is highly skilled and trained to deal with the aftermath of major incidents.
Lee Cowden Patient Support Coordinator
Lee has two children aged 1 and 3, the first of which is thanks to Create Health. She discovered that she would need medical intervention to start a family at the age of fifteen when diagnosed with PCOS. On her first foray into fertility treatment she suffered a heart attack and had an operation to repair a hole in her heart.
Thanks to Create's pioneering work into mild stimulation IVF, she was able to resume fertility treatment and was successful in having her first baby. From the age of fifteen to the present day she has read, listened and researched into many different areas surrounding infertility and related treatments. With her personal experience she offers other Create clients support and advice.

In the 1980s she workde mainly with travel and leisure clients but since becoming freelance in 1991 has found herself working much more with medical and finance businesses.
Specialising in Information Design and Communication she has been working on websites and marketing materials for Create Health for over six years, and now manages Create Health's social media presence as well, tweeting as @CreateIVF.
She also works for the charities HER Trust and ISMAAR and organised the 2006 ISMAAR Congress in London. If you have any comments about the website or other communications media she would be very pleased to hear from you.
