ANTENATAL & OBSTETRIC ULTRASOUND SERVICES
In addition to our fertility treatments and assisted conception services, CREATE Health also provides advanced antenatal scanning services using the very latest ultrasound technology.
We are pioneering leaders in ultrasound scanning technology
Our Director of Ultrasound, Professor Stuart Campbell, is world renowned for introducing new techniques in obstetrics including the routine pregnancy scan, early diagnosis of fetal abnormalities, assessment of fetal growth and wellbeing in addition to ultrasound screening for ovarian cancer.
He has introduced real-time 4D Ultrasound Scanning to the UK and our clinic is the country’s first 4D ultrasound clinic. Unlike conventional 2D ultrasound scans, 3D/4D scans produce lifelike images that can be seen to move in real time (see image opposite).
In addition to providing patients with a breathtaking memento of their pregnancy to share with others, 3D/4D pregnancy scans help in the detection of many anomalies such as cleft lip, cleft palate and club foot.
We can provide a complete One Hour Pregnancy Scan
We can provide a complete One Hour Pregnancy Scan, which comprises a detailed 2D anatomical survey, estimates the fetal weight, calculates the likely birth weight and measures blood flow to the placenta.
