UNDERSTANDING IVF & FERTILITY TREATMENT

CREATE Health is committed to empowering people to make informed decisions about fertility treatment and IVF

We understand that choosing to undergo fertility treatment can be a daunting and emotional experience – and that’s why it is so important to understand infertility and the treatment options available to you.

Our aim is to provide you with all the information you need and to raise your awareness of our natural and mild fertility treatments in order for you to make the safest and most cost effective decision.

An estimated one in seven couples have difficulty conceiving – if you are having trouble, you are not alone

There are a number of reasons why couples have difficulty conceiving. Women generally become less fertile as they get older while other possible causes include endometriosis, ovulation problems, poor egg quality, blocked fallopian tubes and polyclastic ovary syndrome.

For men, causes are usually related to sperm problems and male tube blockages. Sometimes infertility problems can be due to a combination of factors. And, in a third of cases, a clear cause for infertility is never established.

We can help diagnose the reasons for your infertility. We offer a unique One-Stop Fertility MOT service that can determine the causes before offering you advice on the treatment options available.

Please contact us to make an appointment for our One-Stop Fertility Diagnosis.

Making changes to your lifestyle can increase your chances of conceiving

A healthy lifestyle can improve fertility success for both men and women, this includes:

•    Eating healthily
•    Exercising regularly
•    Drinking wisely
•    Avoiding medications and illegal drugs
•    Not smoking
•    Maintaining a cool body temperature
•    Avoiding stress

We can offer you advice on lifestyle changes at our Free Open Days or during an Initial Consultation.

Please contact us to make an appointment for a Free Open Day or Initial Consultation.

You should be aware of ALL the fertility treatments available to you

There is an extensive range of fertility and assisted conception treatments that can help you overcome infertility problems. It’s important that you explore all available options before making a decision.

At CREATE Health, we provide patient-centred and science based fertility care with an emphasis on natural conception without assistance. We provide a full range of fertility treatments but our Natural and Mild IVF options are safer and less expensive than conventional techniques.

Please contact us to make an appointment to discuss our Fertility Treatment & Assisted Conception options.

You should know about the risks associated with fertility treatments

While we encourage you to consider safer natural and less invasive treatments in the first instance, there are risks associated with IVF and related fertility treatments.

These potential risks and side-effects are more commonly associated with fertility drugs used in stimulated treatments, but they can include:

•    Adverse drug reactions
•    Multiple pregnancies
•    Ectopic pregnancy
•    Ovarian Hyperstimulation (OHSS)
•    Miscarriage

Our team of dedicated staff can explain the risks and advise you of the safest form of treatment.
