Fertility education starts in schools

18 Oct 2015

Led by our Medical Director, Professor Geeta Nargund, CREATE Fertility and our charity, the Create Health Foundation, have been championing the introduction of fertility education to the curriculum.

We we believe that it is important to shift the focus from treatment of infertility to prevention. Alongside making society more 'family-friendly', education on fertility allows young people to make more informed choices about their fertility.

The pilot programme is to be introduced in the London Borough of Merton, as written in the Sunday Times. This is being organised by our charity, the Create Health Foundation, with the support of local schools and IN UK. We hope that the programme is successful and that it can be spread to other areas in the future.
