Mr
Vinod Nargund is a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of
Edinburgh and European Board of Urology and works as a Consultant
Urological Surgeon at St Bartholomew's and Homerton Hospitals
in London. He is also Honorary Senior Lecturer in Surgery
in the Academic Department of Surgery at the Royal London
Hospital, London. His special interests include Andrology
and Urological Oncology.
Mr Nargund was trained in Urological Surgery in Belfast and
Oxford. Prior to his present post he was Clinical Lecturer
in the Nuffield Department of Surgery at the Oxford Radcliffe
Hospitals and University of Oxford. He obtained Doctor of
Philosophy for his work on bladder cancer. His current research
interests include early detection of genito-urinary cancers
and patterns of testicular blood flow in infertile patients.
His other research interests are angiogenesis and clinical
evaluation of blood flow in prostate cancer. He has published
papers on bladder, testicular and prostate cancers'.
